This project was the laureate of the 9th Prix Carmignac du Photojournalisme, graciously supported by the Fondation Carmignac.

We are pleased to share that Tanya Habjouqa will be part of the group show "In Transit" with Stefanie Schulz, Gohar Dashti, Daniel Castro Garcia & George Awde, curated by East Wing Artistic Director Peggy Sue Amison.
During the past three months, ten thousands of visitors visited the exhibition Wasteland by Kadir van Lohuizen at Overhoeks in Amsterdam North. This exhibition was part of the festival WeMakeThe.City.
On Sunday, September 23, we will close the project in Amsterdam together with its maker Kadir van Lohuizen, funders, sponsors, designers, builders, volunteers, production professionals as well as friends. Come and join us for this special evening!

As part of the Unseen Open Gallery Night, iMPACT DOC will preopen its doors to the public in collaboration with NOOR and Transformations.
From 20.00 to 21.00 pm, we are organising a talk in which we will explore current transformations within the field of documentary photography, whilst also casting a glance at its future.
The speakers of this evening include Clément Saccomani (Managing Director, NOOR), Bas Vroege (Director, Paradox) and Sanne De Wilde (Photographer, NOOR).

For the first time, NOOR photographer Bénédicte Kurzen will present her series ‘Lake Chad Basin’ which explores ongoing violence in the region in the wake of Boko Haram with TJ Boulting (Stand 39).
As an addition of her work on show, she will talk about her project on Friday, September 21, at 4 P.M. in the UNSEEN Living Room, as part of the UNSEEN Premieres.
Bénédicte Kurzen will be exhibiting her work as part of a 3 year project with 10 Ghanaian and international photographers that created a visual documentation of "Northern Ghana Life", in cooperation with Nuku Studio and Noorderlicht.
Andrea Bruce's project A Place to Go: Sanitation and Open Defecation will be exhibited this year's edition of Visa Pour l'Image.
The Centro Cultural La Moneda will be the host of Kadir van Lohuizen's exhibtion "Where Will We Go" showing the human consequences of the rising sea levels around the world. The exhibition is graciously supported by the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Chile.
