war and conflict

In representing something that is by definition controversial – conflict, a diversity of voices is extremely important. The NOOR photographers with their diverse backgrounds and personal stories, have documented war as they traveled battlefields and ravaged cities all across the world.

Each of these photo stories is but one of the many ways in which war can be represented; together, they make a statement about the all-encompassing reality of the death and destruction poeple bring upon each other.
