Lagos, Nigeria | March 2009

In March 2009, the NOOR Foundation - with the financial support of Nikon Europe BV - organised a masterclass for 15 African photojournalists hailing from seven different countries. The group gathered in Lagos to team up with three NOOR photographers. During five days of intens sessions, a host of information about the profession was shared. The participants worked on a story around the theme of 'survival' in preparation of the class.

The tutors for the annual NOOR-Nikon Masterclass in Lagos, Nigeria were:
Pep Bonet (Spain), Kadir van Lohuizen (The Netherlands) and Jon Lowenstein (USA) and managing director Claudia Hinterseer as moderator.
