south africa workshop: NOOR tutor team announced 

We are pleased to announce that Andrea Bruce, Kadir van Lohuizen and Francesco Zizola will provide the training at the upcoming NOOR-Nikon Masterclass in Documentary Photography.

This year's program is organized for photojournalists and documentary photographers from the SADC (Southern African Development Community) region.

The deadline for submission is next week Wednesday 22 February 2012 (before midnight).

Claudia Hinterseer, managing director of NOOR Photo Agency and Foundation, will moderate the workshop. The workshop is kindly hosted and co-organized by the Cape Town School of Photography.

Andrea Bruce focuses on bringing attention to people living in the aftermath of war. She concentrates on the social issues that are sometimes ignored and often ignited in war's wake. Access a portfolio of Andrea's work.

Kadir van Lohuizen is probably best known for his projects on the seven rivers of the world, the international diamond industry and his current visual investigation on migration in the America’s. Access a portfolio of Kadir's work.
